We put a (fussy) Emilia into the Bjorn for the first time with low expectations for success. Much to our surprise she fell asleep in 15 seconds flat!

I just recently adopted a child from Guatemala and we have been having problems with him falling asleep on his own in his crib. We always have to rock him to sleep (generally with a bottle as well) and then carefully set him in crib. If we try to put him in crib while awake, he just throws a tantrum. He is 11 months old. Any suggestions on how to break this?

My 8 week old daughter only wants to be held if she’s facing out. She loves looking at everything, rather than facing oin and only seeing Mommy’s chest. She is holding her head up pretty well, but it is still pretty wobbly. However, she loves being in the baby bjorn facing out. Some people say she’s too young to sit in it that way because it puts too much pressure on her little spine. But she seems to like it. Should I stop using it until she gets older? I hope this won’t be the case because she’s getting heavy!

So we don’t actually hit our child with a towel… this was just for fun purposes. Kids, don’t do this at home with your siblings.

I am relocating for an unknown amout of time to nassau to be with my boyfriend during and after my pregnancy. I’ve found so much cute baby furniture that I like at target at decent prices how ever they do not ship internationally and I can only take so much with me.
Are there any stores in nassau with prices on baby furniture comparable to those at target.
any help would be wonderful thanks!

I’m trying to paint an aspen wood "expresso colored" changing table for my baby’s nursery, so i need something thats safe with no harsh chemicals. What would be the ideal step by step way to paint it…and i’m confused about whether to use paint or stain, whats the difference? Do i need to use conditioner and primer or just one of them? also should i also sand down the furniture to begin with.
